Saw this on TV -

There is a good chance that a pandemic flu (or other major outbreak)could hit this winter. If it does, you don't want to be in public if at all possible. Prepare to be at home for 2-3 weeks, if needed.

Here's the suggestions -
Stock up on non-perishable food, paper and cleaning goods. Basically, anything that would be critical to your staying away from the virus.

Don't for get food for the pets!

Extra gasoline.

Get all your prescriptions onto the local pharmacy website. Be sure it is a pharmacy with a drive thru, so you don't need to step inside the store.

Extra cash in case you DO get sick and family must pick up meds for you.

Order gifts from the Internet and have them drop shipped.

MOST IMPORTANT - avoid non-critical trips to the doctor and dentist - reschedule appointments to later time.

Jacquie, I got my flu shot last Friday & am hoping that it's the right one for the flu that will be going around this year.

We get free shots at work, but they aren't scheduled to be given until Nov 12.
