Retirees, remember when "TGIF" really meant more than it does now? Working for a communications company I was always on-call, but still looked forward to week-ends. I do look forward to spending more time with DH, who still works full-time...as long as I know he'll go back to work on Monday...LOL!
We'll be celebrating DD's 44th. birthday on Sunday with a family breakfast. I don't see her as much as I'd like, because I don't approve of her SO (for reasons I won't go into), who I've been told is now a live-in. He is not invited to attend the family celebration. Her situation breaks my heart, but I can't live her life.
I have to do laundry today since I've been putting it off all week. BTW, has anyone else seen the movie "Road to Rodanthe (sp?)"? It was pretty good...I did see a few people with red eyes leave the theater when it was over...a typical Sparks book.
Well, I'm off to do that dreaded laundry. Hope you're all having a pleasant day. Cal
