Good Morning

I've been such a sporadic visitor to the 60's+ Board for the past year or so that it takes me forever to catch up when I do log on.  I want to thank Betty and everyone else for the emails that have kept me up-to-date on Rosemary's condition, and on your hospitalization also, Bea.  As so many of you have already said, Rosemary is a fighter and my fingers are crossed that she'll pull out of this one also.

It's getting cool here also.  I've turned the furnace on for the past couple of mornings.  It's only been about 58 inside the house and that's colder than I can take.  I'm planning to have a Rennai propane gas heater installed to supplement the oil heat.  My monthly budget plan for heating oil went from $112 last winter to $276 this year, thanks to the jump in price.   I also open my curtains to let the morning sun in, then in the afternoon open the ones on the other side to let the afternoon sun warm up the kitchen.  Every little bit helps to keep the house warmer.

I just checked the tide charts and see that low tide is just about right now, so am going to take the dog for a walk on the beach this morning, then get the lawn mowed this afternoon and clean up the perennial garden.  Dogs are only allowed on the beach that I go to from October through April 1, due to endangered birds that nest on the beach during the spring and summer months.  Unfortunately low tides don't always correspond to the times I can go to the beach, so I have to take advantage of it when I can.

I hope you all have a good day,       Diana

Wow we have a long lost cousin here, its good to see you and your smiling face. Mindy is the one that is sending the emails on Rosemary, she is such a good little girl. I am glad that Bea will be getting this bugger out really soon, I wonder if its dermoid? We are all going to see a cost jump this winter, we have been paying almost $ 350 dollars a month for Electricity and hopefully it will go down this month.

Betty L. Keep and Angel on your Shoulder & a prayer in your heart.
