Good evening y'all

I awoke this morning with a bellyache, but my 'medical taxi' service was needed.  As you know Eldersis came home yesterday, and I had already bought cotton satin sheets and washed them to put on her bed.  I took them over there, and there were lots of other things that needed doing, so that she could manage to take care of herself.  There are a lot of don'ts for her to follow; of course, she can't drive, so I was needed to take her to the Dr.  That trip grew and grew, because there was medicine to pickup at the pharmacy, groceries that needed buying, and a trip to the bank.  This took all day long.

DH got a call from the Dermatologist before we left home, and he has to go back for more Mohs surgery for a basal cell carcinoma on his face on Monday.  Well, Eldersis already had another appointment with another Dr. (the surgeon) on Monday.  Luckily, hers is at 10:50 and DH's is at 1:15, but they are on the other side of town.  I'll bet it's going to be a tough day!  I'm so tired my eyes are crossed right now, and that was only one Dr. appointment.  I'm not eating at my usual times, and forget the 'snacks' that I usually get at home.  My bg is already getting messed up.  At this point, I'm thinking that if I can just stay within the boundaries I'll be OK.  Times won't be all that important....I hope.  I can see this lasting about 6 months at least.

Drs. put Eldersis on Cumadin, and she has a whole list of all the green vegetables that she can't eat, which are the main staples of the diabetic diet.  Wow, I don't know what we're going to do about that!

Pardon the vent, but it helps me to put it on the screen.

Y'all meet me at the sink, it's gonna' be something strong for me.  There will be anything you want here.

Lottie, have you tried the Protein Water by Kellog? It has whey protein in flavors sweetened with Splenda, either in a bottle ready made or powder to put in water. It has become my standby when my meal time is delayed. Just enough protein to keep me from crashing or eating every piece of sweets in sight.

Hi Lottie--so sorry to hear you have so much on your plate right now--even though you love them--it is hard and you can vent to me any ole time :-) Please take care of yourself too--Jacquie's suggestion about the protein water sounds good too. I hope you can relax a little today and tomorrow.
Here are some hugs (((((U)))))

Wow lottie your plate is full to the brim, sounds like you need a little vacation from all of it. Have you ever when things are going well gone off for a few days alone. Might just be what the dr's on the board would suggest. I do hope that your dh's surgery goes ok and that you sis gets along fine also. One of them needs to move their dr closer to you and then you just point and go. Have a good evening and rest good. hugs
