After reading the posts my aches & pains seem insignificant.  What some of you are going through make me stronger.  I pray for you everyday, a quickie, I must admit, but never the less you're all in my thoughts.  Lately I seldom post...I'm not doing much & don't want to bore you;-)  Just thought I'd let you know that I'm still kickin'!   Hugs, Cal

Cal, I know how you feel about comparing physical problems. My life's a little more routine (aka dull) right now. DH and I spen the morning cleaning up the backyard before some rain that is coming later in the week. Then the cold Fall weather will set in. I raked, then DH vacuumed/mulched the leaves, then I hauled the mulch off to put around new plants for winter protection. We have a lot of thaw & freeze cycles and new plants just get pushed up out of the ground and roots killed. My back was killing me, so I took a long lunch break, need to go out now and finish the one bag of stuff that couldn't be mulched - sticks, dying plants, etc. I have one lone green heirloom tomato on a vine left, but the roses are still blooming. Right now I'm just looking forward to a hot shower and more R&R. Tonight's supper will be takeout Chinese for me and Arby's special for DH. I kid my younger friends that I do the same things at 68 as at 50, just a lot slower - LOL.

DS left his motorcycle at house early this a.m., didn't even see him. He and DIL are off in her truck for some project with her DD on this work holiday. They'll be back later to pick it up. I think he had just gotten off work in town at 8, so she picked him up. Must have killed her to move that early - she has flexible hours at work and doesn't usually start until 9:30 or 10.

take care,
Jacquie
