Today was a busy day, but it turned out that we got a lot of Dr. visits out of the way.  Eldersis is doing quite well on that new artificial hip; her Dr. did give her hope that she will be able to drive in a couple of weeks.  I do hope that she won't push it too much.  After we finished at her Dr's. office, we went to DH's Dermatologist's to have that Basal Cell Carcinoma removed from his face.  That took a long time, because of the tissue examination.  The little place on his face was about half as big as a pencil eraser.  The Dr. has showed me what to look for....there is a white place with just a bit of a sheen to it, surrounded by red.  For such a small place, there was about 1 1/2" of skin taken, so look for little places like that on yourselves.  The Dr. also said that it would be best not to let 6 months go by before the problem was taken care of.  After the Derm. Dr., we went on to another clinic so that Eldersis could have ultrasound on her legs to check for blood clots.  She had one below her knee after the surgery, so they put her on Cumadin.  The diet sheet they gave her cut out almost every green vegetable that you can imagine; green vegetables are the bulk of a diabetic's diet.  Her Dr. here wants to get her off of the Cumadin that they Rx'd at Warm Springs.

Yours truly is certainly glad that she didn't suffer from the bellyache as she did the last time.  I know that made me 'bellyache' when I shouldn't have before, but at least I can come in here and vent.   Love y'all!

We will meet at the sink for the usual libations~!
