i took my sis today and we headed downtown to cast our vote! she wont be around for the next two wks so she wanted to make sure she got her presidential vote in,and so i thought,as long as im there,i mite as well vote also. i couldnt believe the amt of people already there casting their ballots,i had to go around the block several times to find a parking spot and you know how that is in any downtown area..its a jungle. with streets that are one way and streets that are blocked off and the city hall under construction,it was a mess. but i did find a spot and we were able to achieve our goal. talked and laughed with many people that were not afraid to say who they voted for. we all agreed, america needs change! i noticed that people looked hopeful, something i havent seen in a while, even when you go to the stores,it seems everyone has a long sad face. anyway, after we took a ride to the riverwalk in search of fonzie fonzerellis statue,i was going to have my sister take a pic of me and him but couldnt find a place to park..but i could see from the street that he was busy anyway...there were a couple of pegions, one on his head the other on his shoulder and only an imagination like mine could conjure up visions of what those pegions were doing to poor fonzerelli..LOL.LOL hugs mindy

Mindy I didn't know that Wis voted so early, I am so tired of all of it I think I am going for the mail in ballot next time. I to know who I want and it don't start with an Mc LOL.

Driving in traffic drives me nuts anymore, I just want the people to go home and let me have the spot that I want. Have a good evening, hugs

I saw those Sept figues, too, and couldn't believe that little Rhode Island took away Michigan's #1 status in unemployment.

cal i couldnt agree with you more and the job outlook is just as bad here. the trouble is our politicians have sold america out, letting our industry, our steel mills, our paper mills, cars and even our candy be made over seas and shipped back to us..people who cant afford the stuff cause no one is working. and they wonder why were in recession..tomorrow im making a trip to my oldests family

Yes, the Detroit Red Wings were the Stanley Cup champions last season.
