Finally won't have to listen to all the pros and cons every time the t.v. goes on. We don't watch it much, but it does get to you after awhile. We voted last week while at home for a dr.s visit, went to city hall and did an absentee ballot for both of us. Saved us a trip this week from going up a 2nd time. Yesterday we had a dr.s appt. also, and got our flu shots. This darn shot hurt though, can't figure out why. My cholesterol went up to 183 and my bp was 130 over 87 which is high for me, but maybe just having the surgery has something to do with it. We go back for a checkup in 5 months so maybe things will hopefully be back to normal, most of all "me"--I'm so tired of doing nothing, and I do mean nothing. I'm not even allowed to pick up a jug of water or a coffee pot. B-o-o-o-o-o-ring.
I finally watched the DVD that I bought about 2 years ago--Mystic River, which is in Boston and supposed to be a true story. A change from politics.
Everybody have a good day, hugs.

Bea,
I am also happy that the election is almost behind us. It does grate on your nerves after awhile and especially when you are not doing well and you look for a nice feel good movie or TV show to watch. Well at least after the first few days after surgery. I have sure learned a lot about politics though.
I was curious that you wrote that your BP went higher than it normally is. Mine went sky high when it was taken in the pre-surgery room. Prior to taking it they tried twice to prepare my hand for the intravenous and both times my veins blew. I was thinking perhaps that was the cause. My doctor told me Thursday when I had my stitches out that he was very close to canceling my surgery because my BP was so high. It was 185 over 95.Yikes. Normal for me is generally 117 over 78. Now it has been above normal for me still, but daily it is going down. I think it was the
Thanks for posting Bea. Listen to the doctors and don't overdo. It has to be hard for such an active person to do "nothing" but you want to heal well. You'll be dancing again soon.
Lots of hugs and love,
