The coldest day of the season and my furnace goes out.  It seems to me that the burner is working but the fan isn't going on when it should.  I'm thinking that it just happened because the temperature in the house is only down to 61º but I'd like it fixed before it gets any colder.  I'm waiting for ds-Jim to come out and look at it and if he can't figure out what's wrong I'll have to call the furnace guy.  That'll be a pretty penny on a Saturday.  Grrr.

was jim able to fix it kaci? you know just as soon as it gets cold,the first thing to go is the furnace! seems our timing switch went last winter..200 bucks to get it fixed and then the guy wanted to sell us a new furnace!@@ hope the damage wasnt too bad for you..hugs mindy

DH decided to buy a yearly contract with a Heating and Air repair company that we can trust locally to take care of the two heating/air conditioners that we have at the clinic.

Isn't that always the way, but I'm glad that it didn't turn out to be a major problem.
