Good a.m.! I'm boiling...

...a dozen eggs to use in salads & for snacks.  Usually I end up throwing the last few away when I get tired of them.  DH always wants a food...until we have it & then I end up tossing it out, because he changes his mind.  I'm going to have to remind him of all "the starving children in Europe", which was always told to me when I didn't like something my mother cooked!

I have to pick up DGD after school.  That means a stop at the "Malt Shop".  Hard to believe, but they have little veggie trays with low-cal dip...smart move.

Time to get dressed (blush!).  I know once I'm dressed I'll have to go walk my 1.3 mile as I promised DS even though he couldn't be with me today.

Hope you're all having a pleasant day!   Cal

Cal--you may inspire me to do something about my weight--but it is a slow go for me. Good for you for sticking with it.

hi Cal:

I know just what you mean about tossing out left-over eggs.

If I didn't know better I'd think you were talking about my husband, except that he doesn't cook anything!

Thanks Cal! I am not even going to think about it until after the holidays. I get very stressed out about Christmas and I know I would be unable to concentrate on a diet. So maybe it will be a New Year resolution. I can hope :-)

Carol

Don't throw those eggs away; put them in pickle juice (Clausen's juice is best to me) and pickle them for snacks later.
