Good afternoon y'all..........

I've been trying to keep up with y'all.  We actually had some rain Saturday and Sunday!  We couldn't believe it; at least it was mostly soft rainfall, and not a gully washer that does just that.

We had a good Thanksgiving at DBIL's.  The day was beautiful; it was sunny, clear, and not too cold.

Cal, no news is good news on that MRI.  IMHO, they would have called you right-a-way, if something had been wrong.

Gals, y'all know that there's always the kitchen sink for a meeting place.  Hugs to all!

Lottie I am glad that your thanksgiving was great it always helps the rest of the week go by. When you get rain do you get the fog that follows afterwards? Thats why I don't like rain either, I want good old dry weather .

I will have a orange float thank you very much, I am always ready for one of them.

Have a good evening, hugs

Hi Lottie so happy to hear that you got some rain down in your neck o' the woods. You aren't out of your drought yet are you?
I will join you at the sink--I am in the mood for a good ole-fashioned high-ball (whiskey and ginger ales with lots of ice)--then I may skip dinner and go directly to bed LOL
Hugs,

Try a "hospital" strength dose of ibuprofen - 4 tablets instead of 2 on the usual schedule. My niece/nurse says most pain comes from swelling pressing on nerves and this should get it under control. Not recommended for more than 2 days, but it sure helped my sciatica problem last summer.

Hi Kaci--I am sending you good luck for your test results and for your trip to your nieces baby shower. I hope you got some relief from the pain too. You were so smart to go the hairdresser for the shampooing solution. Do you remember years ago there used to be a product you could buy for a dry shampoo? It was a powder you sprinkled on and worked through your hair and then brushed out--I think I have also heard of using corn starch--I have never used it myself but your quandry brought back memories.
I hope you are having a restful and pain free weekend.
Carol
