an ode for rosemary

i had written this ode for rosemary and i put it in a frame and was ready to send it out to her today.ihad written the ode in the present tense, and changed it for the board, after i had found she had passed on. im sorry that she never got to read it but i will share it with you gals,as when i posted on the caringbridge site,i know there were a couple of you that couldnt access it,i always let her know, and bea too, that she was being thought of and prayed for by all of you.

the road you ve traveled has been

long

the hills so very

steep,

each day you tried to summon

up

the courage one must

keep!

to face tomorrows still

unknown

and what those days will

hold,

praying that you found some

strength

for whatever mite

unfold...

there were times you got

discouraged

many times found tears to

cry,

there were times you layed there

motionless

with eyes closed,you wondered

why.

this road that god had put you

on

what purpose did it

serve,

the struggles and the constant

pain

had struck upon each

nerve!

yet thru that darkness shined a

lite

a candle lit by love and

prayer,

for all of those who by your

side

have shown how much they

care!

and with that love  you

rallied,

with hope and courage

found

to face the challenge of each

day

and know your walk was not

alone!!!!

we have had the privledge girls of knowing this courageous woman who shared her life and her struggles with cancer with us thru her posts. i know her lite will continue to shine...hugs mindy

Mindy,

That was so beautiful and as I was reading I was tearing up and after I read it I finally had a good cry about the passing of a good friend and one I truly wish I could have met in person. I will say a prayer for her family as we all know were so special to her.

Thanks for sharing an ode for Rosemary with us this morning.

Mindy

this is so beautiful and it just discribes her so much, she was such a great lady and friend to all of us. I could not help but just cry my eyes out when I was reading this. Like Becky I wish we could of met her in person, people say that you can't get to know someone on the board. My goodness I feel like your all my next door neighbor and such good friends and when someone hurts we all hurt. The memory of Rosemary will be cherished for ever. ((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))

Beautiful Mindy!

I'm sure Rosemary is in a place where she can feel all we are feeling and know how much we miss her already. She's one of Betty's angels now.

Hugs,

Mindy, what would we do without you to find the words for us! You did it again my friend--so beautifully. If I ever have to face the road that Rosemary traveled I hope and pray that I will be able to walk it with the dignity and courage that she did.
Thank you so much Mindy for sharing your talent with us.
Hugs,
Carol
