A difficult Thurs. morning...

...difficult to post...difficult to think of anything but our Rosemary. Has anyone heard from Martha? I know Judy got the message. Although they haven't posting in a while they're very special to this group. I'd like to hear how they're doing.
Not much planned for today. My sons are still "forcing" (encouraging?) me to walk 3 times a week. We're at the mall since it has been so cold. Another benefit of that is getting some of my shopping done with their suggestions as we pass stores. Spending time with them is fun, too.
I hope you have a peaceful day. Hugs to All. Cal

Cal, I'm glad that your getting your walking in.
Oddly, I found myself at peace with the idea that she is no longer suffering. Though Paul's posts always emphasized the positive, I felt she was fading away. I had begun to dread the reports.
This is the time of year I'm glad I have a treadmill. Temps have barely risen to 20 today and going down to 12 tonight. I do need to run some errands on Friday - making fleece pillowcases for the little kids on my gift list.
I'm going to warm the house up with meatloaf and baked potatoes in the oven shortly. I mix turkey Italian sausage with ground beef steak to cut down on the red meat content. It is very tasty. DH eats the inside of the potato, I love just the skins with lite cream cheese on top. I'll roast some sweet potatoes at the same time for another meal.
This morning was devoted to filing bills, etc. which had piled up all summer. They were paid online, but I was just too busy with the wedding to sit down and deal with them. At least I knew where they were - I have a basket on a shelf in my room to hold them until I'm ready to deal with them. Our bank statements are now printed on 3 ring paper so I can save them in a binder - very handy.

Oh, meat loaf & baked potatoes...comfort food from my childhood.
