the men came this morning and took all the tile off, I must say I was so impressed it came off in big sheets after they broke the edging and they said that is a sign of a very good job. The other men are suppose to put in the granite tomorrow, but they are sick and Vern told them to not come until they are well. I if you remember I had pneumonia last jan and could not go to the funerals and I can't afford to get it again. I asked the boss man that was working this morning if he had seen their work and he said that they do a fantastic job, don't speak english (Chinese) but you can make them understand. So it will be done when its done LOL.

I hope your all having a good day, I know that its really cold everywhere now, we are about to freeze. I already got my bath and put my sweats on and its only 2pm.

I sure miss not seeing Rosemary's post even though she hadn't since september but now it is so finale.

I better go and get my coffee before it gets cold, no microwave, no stove, no sink, just the electric BBQ. Have a good evening and stay as warm as possible.

I hear you about keeping the germs away. When I sent out my Thanksgiving open house invitations, I requested any sick folks keep their germs at home. We don't get the flu shots, but have gotten the pneumonia vaccination. I get bad reactions to flu shots and worry more about getting pneumonia.

Your kitchen destruction reminds me of when we had the kitchen remodeled. I set up a mini-prep table in my hobby room - microwave, electric fry pan, crock pot and coffee pots. As DS removed cabinets, he set the sink up on saw horses so I was never without a way to clean up. Dang - I had hoped to plead pitiful and eat out every night for 2 weeks until it was done. DH bragged to buddies about how organized I was and that we didn't miss a meal.

Must get the brown rice steaming for our supper soon. I've discovered how easy it is to do in a stove top stemer and an old metal bowl. The rice gets nice and stick - the way the Chinese restaurants serve it. Making stir fry with leftover pork roast tonight.

Jacquie we can't even use the microwave its in the dinning room and they had to remove one of back panels. Its built in.

Now your stir fry sounds good, I got peanut & Jelly sandwich and potato chips, ya gotta have chips with peanut butter.

Vern had soup, and peanut butter, I used the electric BBQ grill, froze my butt off, but it will all be worth it. They should be here on Wed and get it finished. Kinda fun struggling.

Have a good evening and stay warm.hugs
