TGIF? No way...

...DH is off today & will "help" me with shopping again.  That's what I get for complaining that I do all of the holiday gift buying & preparations by myself!  I'm really smiling...it's fun to have him off work.

We went to DGD's middle school choir Christmas concert last night.  It was a very festive event & put us all in the spirit of the holiday.  There's another concert to be held in a large church (symphony & several choirs) that I'd like to attend.  So much going on!

I'm in the process of putting the tree up.  It's just a little one, but it works.

Hope you're all having a good day!   Cal

Hope you got some walkie talkies to keep track of each other - LOL. I've managed to avoid taking DH shopping for gifts by purchasing most online. I just never know which store has what I want and I get worn out traipsing from store to store.

Speaking of reminiscing, I remember going to the 5 & 10 with low counters. You could see across the counter so your DM never had to wonder what you were up to. And the side walls loaded to the ceiling with wondrous things! Most kids probably went to the toy aisle, not me - I loved the cookie display.

Cal:

Not only do I remember the old 5 & 10 store, but I remember the Fredricks & Nelson's store in downtown Seattle.

I had to laugh at your post Cal. We (my 2 sisters and I) used to buy Blue Waltz perfume

I agree with Cal. Evening in Paris was the high class stuff. We didn't buy that too often.

LOL about the Nadinola!!!
