...of approximately 12 inches of snow & it's still coming down!  My youngest DS is out in the driveway with the snowblower.  I will make him accept some $$ this time!

I believe my shopping is finished.  That is unless someone that I'm not yet aware of will be coming Christmas eve.  I invited my sister & her new "friend" for dinner on Christmas day, but we may be going to a Chinese restaurant buffet, because there will only be DH, our 2 sons & me.  Hope sis' new "friend" likes Chinese;-)  Things change...I remember many years when I had 22 for a sit-down dinner on Christmas day!

Hope you're all enjoying your weather whatever it may be!  I do love the snow, but not the situations it may create for some.  Stay warm!   Hugs, Cal

We had plans to go out visiting today, which we kept but moved it up about 5 hours earlier so that we could be home when the snow started. They kept telling us for days that it would start about noon to 1 p.m. and it is snowing lightly now and then it's supposed to go into blizzard winds etc. after the first hour. We are home now so we timed it just right.

Stay safe, and hope your Christmas plans work out well. Sounds good to me, anything to get out of cooking is my cup of tea.

I see you asked about the Thursday night pizza and how did it all start that DH prepares one meal a week. For about 30 years I taught ceramics and had my own cellar studio, which kept me very, very busy. I taught Mon, Tues and Wed. nights, fired Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. In the beginning DH would bring down the wine and crackers for Wed. night in a toast to another week of class was over. Then I started putting together pizza instead and it would be our supper--at 11 p.m. Then it got so that I just patted the dough out and DH decided to put the pizza together so that we could eat a little earlier. Ceramic business is now done and over with, and DH still enjoys the fact that he is the Thursday night cook and makes the pizza all the time. As a matter of fact, he loves to invite people in to have pizza with us. And since the surgery I just had, he also learned how to spread the dough out, so it's an absolutely free night for me from the kitchen. End of story--ta da. Are you sorry you asked?

Have a good day, don't go out in the snow and no shoveling. Just enjoy the beauty that God has dropped on us. Hugs.
