A do nothing day

After the usual treadmill time, plus back exercises, I pretty much did nothing but lay around and read today. Wasn't sick, just lazy. One of the perks of retirement, I guess. I'm reading one of Clive Cussler's fiction/adventure tales, set in the old West. Nothing new on TV tonight, so I caught up on some genealogy work. After all the holiday rush, it was nice to just relax. I sure am glad DH has a business in the basement which keeps him occupied. When he is upstairs, the big TV blares all the time. Gets on my nerves.

I did get the stove parts loaded into the dishwasher to give them a good cleaning - much easier on the nails than scrubbing by hand. Temps will be in 50s on Tues, so I need to buy a birthday present for 8 yr old DGrD, plus stop at the health food store to stock up on the Stevia sweetener we use now. They also bake fresh bread daily and their seeded sourdough is to die for.

Sleep well - I actually had the window open a crack last night. Just had to have some fresh air.

It does seem good to be able to sleep with the window open a bit, doesn't it?!
