I don't think I can take one more TV display of all the great folks we lost this year. Every year more of the world I knew slips away. Now I know how DHs grandfather felt at 94. He was spry and good health, but said he was ready to go because there was no one left to talk with. We tried to interest him in the 70 yr old widow next door, but he said no way - he had a DAUGHTER older than that - LOL. But he was a treasure of history to talk with. Hope someone appreciates what's in this old brain some day.
Last eve we watched a Paul Newman movie "Torn Curtain". Must have been from late 60s when Cold War was going on with Russia. I don't think that man ever made a movie I didn't enjoy. Probably my favorite is Absence of Malice, where is wrongly accused and seeks revenge.

I agree, Jacquie!
I know what you mean,Jacquie
I remember how sad my father was when he was losing his friends "they're dropping like flies" he lamented
Guess all we can do is enjoy the people in our lives when they are there
and the movies and pictures when they are not!
