We're staying in our hotel room tonight & just spending it with Dick Clark or whoever is hosting the N.Y. Times Square party. Dinner out was nice & early, so we have shrimp, cheese & crackers for a midnight snack. I'd like a bottle of wine, too, but since DH doesn't drink I always forget to buy one for just me!
Mindy, I've been wavin' at ya from my little balcony. My time by the lake has been short...it's cold out there! One of the houses here on the bluff lost part of its' basement as the bluff collapsed. Now the owners of 2 houses had to find other places to live until it's decided what caused the collapse & if it's safe to ever return. Talk about depressing...what a way to start the new year!
Wishing you all a good new year. (We'll miss our Rosemary, won't we?) Hugs, Cal

Happy New year Cal to
Betty L. Keep and Angel on your Shoulder & a prayer in your heart.
we went out to dinner and we are already back!
there will be no staying up to midnight here! LOL
what a shame about the house in peril from the bluff collapse.
enjoy your evening!!
hugs

cal i was waving back at cha..and i was thinking of you as rich and i took a ride over the bridge to the east side of the city,to watch the polar bear club particpants jump into a 36 degree lake. there was large chunks of snow and ice all over the lake front and it was something to see these guys and gals walking thru it as they headed into those fridgid waters...there were bon fires and of course a beer tent..oh and lets not forget the fire resque squads waiting to take those who mite have gotten a heartattack from the sheer shock of jumping in the water...LOL..it was interesting to watch to say the least...
and yes i shall miss rosemary...there isnt a day that doesnt go by that i think about her.may her spirit forever remain with us...hugs mindy
I have absolutely no doubts about Rosemary's spirit being with us forever, Mindy!
I'm glad your New Year's Eve turned out well.
