Your DH also looks in the garbage?? I thought I had the only one. I found a plastic case for old clip on sunglasses in my car, stuffed them in my purse and dumped them in the kitchen trash earlier today. When I was working on the kitchen chairs, DH came over with the garbage can, lifted out the case (covered with coffee grounds) and asked "what's this?". I was dumbstruck - asked him if he always pokes through the garbage. I have a small wastebasket in my hobby room. Sometimes I throw away CDs I've had problems with and I know he'd be right on it. So I line the basket with plastic bags and tie up the top as soon as anything significant is inside, then move it to the kitchen garbage. DH says he's just curious - like a cat. I remind him that neither of our cats is the least but interested in trash.

Up to mid 60s this afternoon in mid-IL. As the outdoor furniture is packed away, I grabbed a folding director's chair from inside the house and moved it to the deck for a few hours. Made some coffee, grabbed a book and enjoyed the sun/warmth/fresh air. I'm reading James Patterson's new book. It's part of his detective Alex Cross series. Ever since I saw Morgan Freeman in movies made from Patterson's books, I can always picture/hear him in the books. Same way with Elmore's books - ever since I saw Denzel Washington in Devil With the Blue Dress, I see Denzel.

Going to be high 50s on Weds, but super windy and heavy rain coming in. That means flash flood notices will be all over the TV screens, even though we don't have any creeks nearby.

Hope by the time you read this you are feeling much better. Do you drink cranberry juice? Supposed to really help. Sure you've been asked that before.
