Yes, more snow!

I was hoping the prediction was wrong, but everything is covered.  I guess it's here to stay for the next week or so.

DH & youngest DS left early for a volleyball tournament about 25 miles away.  I chose to not sit on hard bleachers for 7-8 hours, because of my leg pain.  (BTW, physical therapy seems to be helping a bit...yippee!)

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's Academy Awards.  I wish I'd seen more of the movies nominated, but will enjoy the glitz & glam regardless.  The Barbara Walters Special before the awards should be good, too.

I got up at 3:30 a.m. today & have already taken a nap.  The home made vegetable soup from yesterday is calling to me since breakfast was at 6 a.m.

Hope you all have a snow-free, pleasant day.   Cal

Snow here too. It started about 3 o'clock this morning and it's still snowing. We were suppose to get 3 to 5 inches and they were wrong again. I did some shoveling about 11 o'clock and at that time we already had an average of 7 inches. It's pretty nasty out there.

dd#1 had to take dgs-Tim to a basketball tournament today. I assume they went, because I haven't heard anything to the contrary. I had told her that I didn't care to go along if the weather was bad.

I don't have any interest in the academy awards any more. I don't get to see any movies anyway. The last couple of awards shows I've watched was a bunch of people spouting off on political issues and I don't think it's the proper place for that, so I just don't even watch.

I think I'll go out now and do some more shoveling before it gets dark out.

Oh Cal, I'm with you when it comes to sitting on those hard benches for that long length of time.

I'm looking forward to the Oscars. We only saw Slum Dog Millionaire (fantastic!) and Changelings (saw it last night on Pay Per View) also very good. Angelina can really act.

I'm glad your leg is better, but I missed what the problem was.

Hugs,
