It's been a long time and I finally took it upon myself to write and hope that she would answer. She did. I was so afraid that they were near the fires but as somebody else mentioned they are 550 miles away from them.
I asked her if she minded my mentioning on the board that she wrote, and no, of course she was pleased that I would do this. So roughly, this is it:
First off, she is having some sort of trouble with the computer, and lost 3 posts and finally got this one through, and the server doesn't tell her what is wrong and also wants it to tell her why she is worn out. LOL! She has been battling some health problems that make her very tired and it seems that many days are not good days for her. She sends her love and wishes to all the ladies on the board and hope that you will all understand that she will be 82 in a few weeks and there never seems to be enough time to do all she has to do around their home. She writes herself a list each morning of what she wants or would like to do, needless to say she never achieves it all either inside or out. She took Jack and Tillie in the car while she did shopping Saturday as she is frightened Jack could fall at home while she is away. They have finally had some rain, which they are happy about. Victoria had some also which finally put the fires out.
It was so good to hear from her, and I asked her if I could share the news and she of course said yes, as she knew she probably couldn't get to the board and then wait. So here it is, at least they are still together and trying to enjoy everyday life, and they have their lovely little dog Tillie to keep them company. It was so good to hear from her.
I'm happy to pass along the good news, and wanted to write this more than a post about myself as I know I will run into the toolbar issue soon.
A good day to all, hugs.
