After reading all the posts on the awful weather I wonder how I will handle it after 16 years of FL. I know I will miss the lifestyle here. It's hard to describe the way we seem to mesh and become 'family'. If I stayed I do know that I would never have to feel alone. Those that do not have family are loved and taken care of right to their death bed. If one of my girls were in FL or I had NO family I would never leave. Hurricanes are no reason to leave.
The sale is a go. As far as the price I got-- fair in today's market. Better than most are getting. It will free up $500. a month at once. Not bad. I can come here and have places to stay. I hope to rent a place for a few months each year, but I do know how that goes-- it mostly doesn't.
Both my girls seem to be happy I'm coming back. The one lives at the Jersey Shore, so I know I'll got there part of the summer. Bethlehem seems to be growing and there will be lots to do. I'll volunteer someplace. I do know a few people since I went to Church when in PA. AND as the man nest door here said-- always can come back.(never will)
Hope all that bad weather and all the bad backs get better. I know that the weather does make one creak. Here we will be sunny and 80 all this week.
That trip to the grand canyon sounds wonderful. I was there almost 20 years ago now, and would dearly love to go back. I will look forward to hearing all about it.
To you all-- you do mean a lot to me. What with the move April 28 and then setting up the PC in PA. I may not be on in a regular bases , but once there I will. Stay well and safe-- Martha
