In a few minutes I'll make a bowl of butter pecan ice cream with carmel, hot fudge, banana & more pecans!  I never have ice cream in the house, because of my perpetual diet.  But I couldn't resist...a carton of butter pecan was calling to me at the store tonight.  DH doesn't care for ice cream...a strange fellow!

I'm still having problems with my legs & I've upped my dose of pain med.  Last night I didn't fall sleep until about 6 am after I took more med.  I talked to the dr. today & she made an appt. for me to have a MRI.  What follows will be an appt. with a specialist to see what can be  done.  The last resort is surgery, but I'll try everything before that happens!  Scares me!

Hope you're all having a good evening.  Time to enjoy my ice cream & "20/20".   Cal

O'kay Cal, now that it's tomorrow after yesterdays treat of that nice ice cream, and DH doesn't like ice cream, it looks like you are going to be having more.

My skinny, blonde, beautiful, younger sister has ice cream every night, too.

I was ready to go out and buy some after reading your post. I like "turtle" anything - ice cream, cheesecake, coffee. BUT - the TV was running a program about staying healthy as you age and the MD did a whole bit about what sugar does to the arteries. We had sugar free pudding instead :(

Boy, I wish I could walk for that long. The nerves in my deteriorating back disks start complaining after 30 minutes. Yesterday I did one of those odd things where you hyper extend a knee backwards, and now I'm limping around. DH is starting to grumble about skipping the trip to New Orleans if I can't walk. He's such a cheerful soul and makes me feel so much better - GRRR.

Jacquie, the important thing is the way your back feels...tell your DH
