Let me start off just saying hi to everyone!  My name is Melissa and I have two children.  I just had a baby 8/12.  Then I blamed my stomach pain on having a rough delivery.  The pain was so bad for two weeks that I was begging my ob/gyn for sleeping and pain pills.  Finally she told me to go see my pcp.  So I did...he thought it was gallstones.  Well he was partly right I passed the gallstone felt fine for a few days...but the pain came back.  I ended up in the hospital...hooked to and IV for pain.  SO they admitted me into the hospital  did every test possible.  They did a chest x ray, blood test (to find out I am also severly anemic), they did two CT scans, a hida scan, a colonoscopy...then finally 5 days into the hospital an endoscope (a camera tube thing they stick down your throat) I have a hiatal hernia the size of a golf ball, erosion of the esophogus and stomach...which that effects my gallbladder, it makes it not contract right.

Well you all may think why am I typing this here?  Well did you know this problem is very common in women? My doctor says because usually stress or other things like what we eat cause this problem.   Being a new mom, and mom to a two year old, had two pregnancy...that causing me to eat poorly.   Which caused the problem.   So now I am on medication for a while because I didn't take the time to eat properly and I have been stressed out.  If you have stomach aches that feel like they are in the middle of your chest, or your right side by your ribs go to the doctor.

Most woman who have had kids or not have a higher chance of having something wrong with your gallbladder.

Sorry if this post doesn't go here.  I couldn't find a proper place to.
