I was recently diagnosed with the Epstein Barr virus. The doc did a test and I tested positive for Mono. The doc says I am past the infectious stage and am recovering. I still feel like crap and can't function. I have gone through 5 months on hell, not being able to do things and feeling very guilty that I couldn't keep up. I still feel horrible. I have 5 kids and cannot seem to get any extra rest!!! Has anyone had this and how long did it take to feel better?
Also, I have horrible pains in my legs. The doc did screening on this and found that I have high antibodies for the strep virus and inflammation. My legs still hurt despite my taking Advil and Aleve. My legs feel like spaghetti and like I just ran a 10 mile marathon, even if I am just sitting. Does anyone know if this is caused the the Epstein Barr virus or could it be something else?

Greetings and Welcome stef869,
Sorry about taking so long to answer you but I've been 'under the weather" myself.
Based on your doctor's screening there is no reason to suspect the leg problems
