i am a 27 year old female who has never had any kids and is not pregnant.
ever since puberty my breasts have been very lumpy. i read that some womens just are so never gave it a thought.
this summer my lower breasts started becoming intensely itchy. gp gave me timodine cream (hydrocortisone and antifungal) and said it was the heat. didnt help much.
last 3 weeks i have had lots of physical problems including unequal pupils, intention tremor, weakness, tingling and numbness in parts, muscle aches, shooting pains, joint pains, vertigo and visual disturbances, and then small thumbprint bruises all over my legs.
oh and i think either my rectum or uterus has prolapsed after i went numb down there. i was examined (cervix/vagina) and told it was fine but it still feels unusual for me.
gp ordered bloodtests to rule out lupus. everything came back normal, including ESR and whiteblood count and platelets and clotting. (that was on tuesday)
which made me think it was neurological.
but today i did my monthly breast check and when i squeezed them this oily yellowish liquid came out my nipples and as i squeezed the nipple what can only be described as pus came out. creamy pus.
freaked out!
i thought mastitis, but my breasts are not inflamed at all. no redness. no change in shape.
i dont have even the slightest temperature.
but now there is this pus.
whaaaaaaat?
any ideas?
frankly my gp is sick of the sight of me and told me not to come back so i am waiting for a private referral to a neurologist, but this aint neurological!!!

Greetings and Welcome Lilah,

Hi Lilah, Greetings and Welcome!
Welcome to Other Women's Health Issues!
hello all!
thank you for the warm welcome and kind replies.
still no word from the private neuro grrr. but i am chasing that up!!!
when i said i had bruises i mean i had like 20 -30 thumbprint sized bruises on each leg from thigh to ankle!!! even the gp thought it was odd. but after the blood tests came back ok they just lost interest and shrugged. the only new ones now are on my tummy. so hopefully that will get better.
intention tremor is tremor that gets worse or occurs when you try to move or grip something.

Lilah,
Thanks for the definition and I hope you hear from the neurologist soon!
Keep us updated.
OMG How rude, he told you not to come back!!! WOW what a slap in the face, I think you really need to be checked out, by someone a little more sensitive, the yellowish pus is a huge red flag!! Geez i hope you find someone better soon!! Please take care!
