Mitral Valve Prolapse.

I was diagnosed with this condition six years ago and had two "attacks" that sound like they were similar to yours. IF this is what it is (I'm a history teacher, not a doctor), first, go to your doc and ask if she can run and echocardiogram on you. I had to go to the cardiopulmonary department of my hospital, but it's a sonagram on your heart.

MVP is a minor heart condition where your mitral valve just doesn't close right all the time. And the valve is located on the lower left side and under your breast. When I was diagnosed my doc thought it was heartburn, stomach problems, lung problems and I had a battery of tests run. The last was the echocardiogram.

I haven't heard much about this being a serious condition. I had to give up my frappachinos, limit my caffine intake, and not get too stressed out. The only time I have to take medicine is when I have antibotics before I get my teeth worked on to prevent bacteria from getting into the blood.

If this is what you have, I have links to some websites that might help you understand the condition better.

Calm down and let me know if you have more questions.
