Easily Overheated

My body seems to have a small "window of comfort zone" regarding temperature. I'm confortable between 60 degrees and 72 degrees. Under or over that I either freeze or get so hot I'm miserable. I have been this all my life and, yes, my thyroid has been checked and it's normal with medication.

Does ANYONE have this problem?

Halleluyah! Someone else just like me. Thanks for taking the time to answer. I'm going to check with my endocrinologist soon!

Hi, llmblonde, and welcome to the Women's Health board!

Since I don't have personal experience with having both cold intolerance and heat intolerance at the same time, I did a little research online. Thyroid disorders aside, one possible explanation I learned of is a problem with the pituitary gland. Have you mentioned your temperature sensitivity/small comfort zone to your doctor? He or she might have some other ideas, and I hope members who share your problem will chime in as well.

Best of luck, and please feel free to stop by the board anytime! Take care.
