Hi everybody,

We are going to travel (by car) with the baby and we will be staying in hotels for many nights. We are trying to think of how the baby is going to sleep there at night. I called the hotel and they don't have rooms with the cribs. But when the my son sleeps at night he is all over the crib. So he needs some borders. Is there any product for this purpose? (I am not too crazy about the idea of putting him in bad with me. I know this way I am not going to have any sleep)

Any other advice on travelling? I'll appreciate it.

Thanks for your help.

Hello! I do not post much I usually just lurk but when I traveled with my daughter at 3 1/2 months I brought a pack and play with me and that is where she slept. It fit perfectly in between the two beds in the room that we had!! OTH Tracey

Tracy,

Thank you for your advice.

We have this thing. The only problem is that we will be staying in Colorado and since the baby is 6 mo old if he is going to sleep in it - it will be close to the floor - and it is usually cold there...

Does your pack and play have a snap bassinet in it? That will lift the baby up to about bed height in the hotel. Also, if you think it is really cold around that area. By a cheap little floor heater and set where it can warm the area up. It's there electric bill and your babies health.

Yes, we have basinet, but the baby is too havy for it, we have to buy the blanket. Thank you for the advice. That is a very good idea!
