Concerned about daughter

I am concerned about my 5 month old DD. She has yet to roll from her back to her belly and vice versa. I was wondering if this is normal or if there might be something wrong with her. She can lift her head up pretty high when lying down and is halfway turning over...she gets to her side, but can't manage to flip. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I wouldn't be concerened. My dd is 9 months old TODAY!!!!!!. She hates rolling over all the way around. She can't stand being on her her tummy. If you put her on her tummy she rolls over on her back to get off her tummy.(this only happens once in a blue moon recently!!!) She has never rolled all the way over, or from her back to her tummy. I was quite concerened. I took her to the doctor, and consulted on here. Most people said it was normal. and my dr did too. She is now 9 months, and still is the same. She seems to have no desire to crawl at all, but... she stands holding onto a coffee table or chair on her own, and if you hold her fingers, she will walk all over the place! Some babies just don't enjoy certain things I guess. If you are concerened, I would take her to the dr to have a check up to cover all the "just in cases"

My son is 3 months old and can roll to one side, but not all the way over to his tummy.
I think this goes on for months before they do it all the way.
but like I said, talk to your dr and he can help you on finding out if this is normal or not.
Good luck.

I have a 9 month old DD. First every baby is totally different. Mine wasn't rolling over at that age either. I f I can remember she did it shortly after though. Now she's taking steps 3 at time now. So some kids kind of skip rolling to crawling over night. I wouldn't worry about it. She'll do it when she's good and ready. She'll be running through your house like the tazmanian devil shortly enough.lol. Then you will wish she didn't learn it so fast.lol. I also have a son who is almost 3, so he's prepared me for everything fast. He was so quick at everything. Now I wish I still had my little baby boy again. That's why I prayed that DD would be a little slower, so I can have a baby longer. Your baby is totally normal and I'm sure she's beautiful too. Good luck and have fun.
