Hi All,

I'm currently a computer programmer with a BS in computer science and am 2 classes away from my MS in computer science. I am due with my first child in September and it's already killing me to think of having to go back to work after the birth. I've tried to talking to DH a few times about buying a cheaper house and staying home but he's not buying it. I've also been looking online for programming jobs that I can do from home but haven't been able to find anything.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to convince DH or where to look for jobs?

I tried a lot of those website and you have to pay $30 or more just to look at the jobs. That seems like a scam to me. Is that the norm?

You do have to be careful with those, a lot of the time they are a waste of money. Before I became a SAHM and I was looking for work I went the monster.com It works I actually got a couple of leads from it. Might be worth a try.

You might want to try checking out the wahm boards on ivillage. Alot of them work from home and have some good job ideas.

I have an idea, but I am not sure it applies. I know that on Ebay they have a section where buisnesses who are looking for someone to do stuff (mabey computer) can place a bid to people who can supplt them.

I would look at ebay in the services section. Just an idea, I hope it works.
