Well we have a big family gathering the day before Easter. So that way we can see our other family on Sunday. We have family that comes from out of state, its so fun to see everyone. There a total of about 40 that come.
We all meet at the park and have an egg hunt and play games.Like an egg roll, the money bunny...which is a speical egg hidden real good with about 15$ in it.Egg deco contest and the raw egg toss. Then we have a big B.B.Q,we all bring our own drinks and meat to cook but bring a side to share. So there is a ton of food and desserts. After that the kids hike and run around. The adults play baseball with some of the kids that want to play, while us Mommies with little ones talk and watch. Its so much fun and we all look forward to it.
After that me and my sisters and brother are going to his house to meet with my Dads side for Easter dinner.
On Sunday its me my SO and our kids.We will give their Easter baskets and go to church then come home and I will make an a Easter ham dinner.

So Im lugging my 4 small children to church by myself, taking them to the family dinners by myself, and Im so depressed about it. My oldest just turned 6, and my youngest is 8 months so it will be so hard, but Im gonna try to look past it and enjoy our day anyway.
We'll have fun anyways, My family will help me, Im just very sad for hubby. How depressing to spend Easter in a factory!

for us...i've decided to host an easter egg hunt for all of our friends kids, DD is 2-1/2 y.o. so she'll love it. i'm having brunch type layout, coffee, tea, bloody mary's, mimosa's, juice, donuts, muffins, breads, easter goodies for the kids. there's like 6 couples coming and kids in all about 20 or so. not too huge to break the bank but big enough that it's fun. i'm thinking of limiting each kid to 6 eggs, don't want to be a bunny scrooge but can't afford a gazillion eggs and candy, i think it's ok. and now friends want to bring things, some are bringing food and another friend has decided to make goodie bags for each child to take on their way out. should be super fun. hoping that spring is finally here by then in MA.
My husband will be gone again, for the 2-3 times now.
Don't really have much planned for my 5 year old son. I bought dye to make eggs, but we really don't have a yard worth hiding them in.
I know we will go to church, and maybe hide the eggs at my parents home, but who knows.
