baby eye-rolling normal

I couldn't wait to see the doctor so I ended up talking to the doctor on-call. She said that babies rolling their eyes (when they're really tired) is normal. And Cade only does this when he is really really tired. This is the same reason the head falls back - we do the same thing when we're tired. I told her about Cade arching his back. She asked if he ever does this during the day. He does it frequently, when he doesn't want to be held or when he doesn't want to go to sleep. She asked if his limbs ever shook or locked up and I said no. But he does fight sleep really badly. The doctor said there are no real signs of seizures. The eye-rolling only lasts 2 or 3 seconds and there are no other symptoms. She thinks that he arches his back slightly because he is trying to fight sleep. She told me that if he starts displaying these symptoms when he's not tired that he will need to see someone. I'm relieved anyway. Thanks for your posts!
