Been feeling yucky...I had a stomach virus for 2 days. I seriously think I have an iron stomach because I want to eat even when I am sick..LOL.
I am also really proud of Dh. He landed a job interview with a mayjor company! He has had the same job for 4 years and quickly moved up, even ahead of men who had been there for 15 years, but there is just nowhere to go! He is what is called a releifman and the next step up is supervisor. Well they only need 2 and they already have them and probably won't need any for a long time. This new job could mean more money and even better insurance than we already have. There is a downside though. He would be on call 24/7 and could have to travel for 3 to four days at a time. We figure though that since we are homeschoolers we could occasionally travel behind Dh and it would be great for the kids. It would be okay if he had to be gone on holidays because we could just meet up with him. It could mean relocating for us, which is a little scary for me since I have lived in the same town for almost my whole life! I am really proud of Dh though, it is really rare in our area to get even an interview with this company! We won't find out till the interview which area they have in mind for him.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend...I am just gonna read and rest.

I posted mine then saw yours and said "sh#@" there she goes again! lol
I don't mind at all if you ask, I will try not to confuse you since race in this country is a real sore spot with me!
My Dh is of hispanic and North American Indian descent. He is siminole Indian and we are not sure about the other. His grandparents/great grandparents and great-great grandparents on both sides have always lived in Texas. Like most Americans we do not know his complete anscetry.

Ooohhh!!
Good luck to your DH...it is so exciting when you get the interview. My only advice would be to not worry yourself about anything until you need to (I can never do that, but it is good advice:). Finally, moving...it is so hard, but when the immediate family is happy then life is good (we moved away from my family that I am very close with when I was 10 weeks pregnant with Andy and it has been hard because there is no family around here either, but everything is worth it!).
Again good luck and feel better,

other than that we're pretty much mutts too, lots of Cherokee and oddly enough Cree, and then just lots of generic 'white girl':)
Congrats to your dh getting a better job. Seems like it would benefit you guys real well.
I know that better jobs are great but have down falls as well. But if it means moving or being on call, it still might be worth it.
Good luck on the descion you guys make.
Get well soon.
