Of course this would happen on a sunday when her normal doctors office is cloesed!!! My three year old has a rash on her chest and neck and under her chin, its all raised dots, and of course for some reason chicken pox is going on where I live, a friend of mines son had it. The only thing is it doesn't look like pox, it looks like the contact dermatitis she used to get when she was one. So what do I do, wait and see what happens, give her the meds for contact dermatitis, or bring her to the er and take a chance of sitting there for 6+ hrs to find out its nothing??? Please help!

Does your drs office have a 24 hour help line? Or after hours line?
If so, ask them what they think....
Is she itching?
Could it be a heat rash or allergic reaction to something new she laid on?
I think you should do what you think is best and try calling a dr.
Good luck!

Unfortunatly my husband is in the military and they don't believe in things like on call drs. I think it may just be her contact dermatitis acting up again, she doesn't act like it is itchy, I just kindof freaked when I saw it because of those pox going around. I think I may wait till tomarow and call doc then unless it gets worse. Thanks

Here is a website I find to be very informative...

On the first page in different types of rashes including chicken pox...move your cursor over next to the rash you want to know about
