it IS MONDAY afer all.
& we did just all go through family holiday numero uno.

what's ticking us off today?

for me...

1. that i'm being whimpy & having fear about trying to conceive this spring for our first child.

2. my DH's sister & sister-in-law were brats on Thanksgiving (they're 'rough-around-the-edges' types & they didn't call us on Thanksgiving & that hurts my DH.) (they live across the country & DH thinks they are also jealous of me for various reasons) (they both went through bad divorces recently & DH & i had the smoothest courtship & marriage-- except when they started being snotty to us last Xmas- my first year of marriage).

your turn -- just vent...! Jen

I'll bite...lol.

Today while running errands there was a young woman..oh about 20 or so. She bends over in front of my children and I in line at a grocery story, and gives my seven year old an anatomy lesson on..uh lets say butts. Her jeans were so low that when she bent over my seven year old saw her assets and I am talking most of it along with her thong. People you could see the string deviding where you shouldn't be able to see!!!

She turns around with this irritating giggle and says..."sorry, I guess your little boy needed to learn sometime"

Uh WHAT!!!!!! If she would have left it alone I would have probably ignored it, but I got ticked off and told her.."Don't worry about it, I am advocating for the surgical lowering of butt cracks and you would be a perfect poster girl" It gave the people behind me a good laugh but I don't think she appreciated it much by the way her aforementioned parts were stomping out! lol

I would have to say that nothing really ticked me off today. I had a good one and hope to have like that this week.
I got good news about home schooling Andrew, so things could not be better.

Sorry, I didnt get a chance to post this yesterday. But this really ticked me off!!! I walk my older two to school every day. Its a great workout and it usually gets me motivated in the morning. Anyway, we got to the crosswalk and the crossing guard started in to the crosswalk to stop traffic so we can cross. Well, this little car with two men in it, sped up and cut out of the line of traffic into the turn lane that was also in the path of the crosswalk and he passed the other cars so he could turn into the gas station. The crossing guard had to jump back to avoid getting hit. She said a few choice words and then proceeded to assist us across the street. After dropping my children off, I stopped by the gas station to get a morning donut and coffee, something I usually do. I was still mad about the two young men who almost hit the crossing guard. Would you know that they were still there?
As I entered the store, the driver was at the cashier and I just simple told him in a nice calm voice (even though I was boiling inside!!) that he needed to slow down, that is a school zone and he almost hit that guard. You know what he said to me? "SHUT THE F*&K UP YOU STUPID FAT C*#T !!

Excuse me??!! You almost ran over that guard in front of my children and you are calling me names?? OH NO!! I told him that those were MY children and I will anything to protect them...even if that meant tearing your little butt apart!!!

The manager of the store then told him to leave and that he is not to come back. Then as I was leaving, a police car pulled up right behind his car. Apparently, a passerbyer had called his plates in for reckless driving in a school zone.

What happened to the 2 punks? I hope they got a ticket.
Too bad you didn't whip their butts. Talking like that in front of kids, how horrible and to top it off, almost hitting someone.
I hope they get what they deserve.
