Maggie was 2 in October. I went off the pill last March and we are taking a if it happens it happens approach. So far nothing is happening. I am now sure how I will handle 2 no matter what the age gap is LOL
DD is 1 on Wednesday, and we're expecting #2 at the beginning of July. I'm not sure what the ideal spacing of kids is - I think whatever your heart says is the right answer!
My kids are 3-1/3 yrs and 17 months... they're 23 months apart. I think 2 years is a GREAT age gap because they are soooooooooo close. These kids love each other so much and they are so in tune with each other (but that can be bad too, lol!). Two years apart is great BUT we are going to wait another year to have the next. When dd was first born it was really hard having two kids that were so young and needy. I really felt that I gyped my ds out of some of his baby time. We are planning on ttc again when dd is 2 so it will be 2 years between the first two and 3 years between the second two.
I also have a lot of friends with kids 5 years apart and it seems to work out really well because 1 is already in school when the new baby arrives. It's almost like only having one at a time but you get a helper too.
I have a set of twins, conceived through fertility treatments and a 7 week old baby conceived naturally. I never wanted such an age gap, and when Alysa hits 6 months we are going to try to have a little playmate for her. I personally think about 2 years between is a good age space, and is what we would have aimed for if we hadn't had fertility issues early in our marriage.Good Luck!
Hi:) My son was 2 years old in September, and me and my husband are going to start trying to conceive in Feb., so they will be 3 years apart. My son is independent now, starting to potty-train and doesnt need a lot of attention. So, if im sick while pregnant, we can just watch movies all day, and he wouldnt care :) I love the time I got to spend with him and all the things we got to do together, just me and him. So, I wanted to wait at least 3 years in between, then he will be starting preschool. I think everyone thinks differently, and it's a personal decision, just my input, hope this helped! Katie

Andrew is 5 years old and Dalton is 1 years old.
I hope that we have one more child, but its not a must or something we are trying for.
