I feel so bad for all the people affected over the holidays that lost thier lives in the earth quake / tsunami (sp??)

As some of you know, my dh and I went to Phi Phi Island in Thailand for our honeymoon. It was AMAZING!!!! Great food, your private hut on the beach, a pool that overlooked the ocean, and ran into it... so when you where lying in it, you could look at the pool, and think you were in the ocean. There were no vehicles on the island (except bikes), all the "roads" were sand. We had dinner one night in a tree hut, about 20-30ft up...really, !!!!

They said in the news today that this island is gone now. It was hit by the waves on both sides. It was the 2nd hardest hit of the whole thing.

I have said so many prayers for those people, both locals, and tourists alike, I hope you can do the same... Not just for this country, but for all the others that were affected.

I have been following this story too. It is just so sad! It really makes me appreciate the the things I have because you just never now what can happen. One minute you're enjoying a great vacation and the next minute your lives have changed forever.
I've been keeping these people in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry that a memory of yours is gone.
I also have been praying for those who have lost their lives.
It is horrible that something like this has happened to anyone.
I hope that something like this never happens again and if it does, that next time there is more warning.

This whole thing has really shaken us up as well. My stepsisters are in the Philippines, and although they were not hit, they go through typhoons on a regular basis. This really has me concerned, and thinking "what if"...
