What are your New Years Resolutions?

Any advice on how to keep them?

My are pretty much the same every year:
Eat healthier
Exercise more
Lose a few pounds

I do okay throughout the year, but obviously not well enough to remove them from my list : )

This year I'd also like to figure out what I want to do when I "grow up". My kids will both be in school soon and I'm not sure if I want to go back to work, continue to stay at home, work from home or go back for my masters.

I'd also like to find a "home". We've been somewhat transient the last few years and with the kids starting school we'd really like to find a place to plant our roots.

What are your goals?

Well I don't really make resolutions, but I have a couple goals.

We want to have another baby and have been working on that one for almost a year now.

I would like to sell some more houses so at the beg. on 2006 we can get out of our condo and into a real house with a yard.

And I need to get out and make some friends. I too have been transient for the last few years so it has been hard for me to make new friends.

I have one big thing that I plan on trying to nip in the butt this year, and that is to stop using the credit card!!!!
I am so bad about it, and we are going down if I don't stop.
So wish me good luck.

My big resolution actually started in November. I resolved to become in involved in local politics. Not running or anything, but if I want this world to be the world I want, I need to start making changes here in my community. I can't expect a single vote for president to change the world. Change starts from within your own city, your own town, your own neighborhood. (I'd also like to encourage everyone else to actually get out and vote for your local city council members and such if you don't already.) When I reregistered after our move, I changed myself to permanent absentee status so I wouldn't have any excuses. ;)

And then there's the traditional "Get back to FLYlady" resolution. It works so well for me when I actually do it. Wish me luck.
