Would you ever consider having...

plastic surgery? Plastic surgery seems to be the "thing to do" these days. What would you have done? What would you be willing to spend?
I think my answer is no. Sure there are things about my body I'd like to change, but I guess I'm way to practical to spend the money and I really hate any type of pain : ) I have a friend who had a "boob job" last year...she spent $10,000 for the procedure. I just think of all I could spend that money on (that could put both my kids thru college and more if I invested it now). I guess I'd rather just buy a nice padded bra : )
Just curious what you all think.

I would not do any surgery unless it was needed, because with any surgery, there si a risk, and just not worth it for something to make me look better.
Nope! I'm afraid that something bad might happen. Lasers are as far as I'll go - maybe get my stretch marks removed (they're bad!) if we happen to have lots of money laying around. But plastic surgery is not for me.

Well I will have to answer yes since I

Ok, I have to admit, that I have seriously considered going under the knife. I would never do it for barbie-boobies (what I affectionatly call breast implants), or for the errant wrinkle or line, but I have thought about having a tummy tuck following the twins. I got SOOOO huge with them, and as I lose weight, well, let's just say that things aren't exactly arranging themselves as gracefully as I might prefer them to. . . It was bad enough when I was still very chubby, but as the belly is getting (slooooowwwwwly) smaller, the belly "flab" is just not cool. So, yes, I'll have to say that I would consider it. BUT, the surgery that I'm considering is (!) probably going to be covered in large part by my insurance due to the amount of weight that I lost, or it wouldn't even be an issue TO consider LOL! I couldn't imagine shelling out thousands and thousands of dollars on something that I just didn't really need. . . As far as vanity snipping here and there, it seems a little risky to do unless it's a really obvious issue.

I have to say that I would probably consider a tummy tuck if money was available. I have a c-section scar anyway and I feel like blue jeans just do not look right on me anymore.
But I am also one of those people that hate seeing all the fake boobs. God, there are starving children out there!!! I think that money could go to something more helpful.
