House Vent....

Ok, we finaly got the keys yesterday! I'm soo excited, it finally seems real. But, theres a lot to do. There's this HUGE tree in the back yard close to the house, its about 5 trees into one, and it looks like it should come down. Well, thats about $1600...which is fine, we have been saving, but who the heck wants to spend that kind of money to take a tree down? But, as I was cleaning the windows, I realized they are really crapppy, and I would love to replace them, but paying for this stupid tree, plus a washer/dryer, lawn mower, we can't do it right away. Oh, and we need to get A/C. I know it takes time and you can't do EVERYTHING right away, it's just the house looks kind of bad with the windows, and we only need to replace the 2 kitchen ones right now.
So, as my husband was putting the new locks on and I'm cleaning the kithcen, Dominic is running around crying, he wants to go outside, he wants to go home...I just don't feel like we will get anything done with him...Plus, he doesnt understand anyway, hes only 2 years old, so I understand where he's coming from. And, the neighbor next door was outside and he didn't even come over and say hi or introduce himself. Our other neighbor on one side came over and he was very very nice. I dont know, I just can't stand rude people, he saw us outside.... I just feel soo stressed, and I was soo exhausted last night, I felt like I did one thing it took all of my energy. Plus, I was yelling at Dom, he had diahrea like 10 times while we were there! Sorry, for the long vent, Just feeling a big overwhelmed, but I think its normal, right?:) And Ive been going to the gym about 2-3 days a week, and feeling wonderful. I don't even feel pregnant and my body, other than my belly doesn't look pregnant..I was really big with Dom, so I feel relieved. I have a hard time gaining weight because before I got preg. I worked out 5 days a week, running 2 miles a day, so, I'm very active. I know I will gain more and more wieght, and thats fine, but I just want to continue my workout because it makes me feel soo good.
So, now I feel like I will never make it to the gym again because this house will take up a lot of time...is that stupid?

I know how it feels. Been there, done that.
It will get better. I promise you that. Having a home takes a lot of time and $. I realized that after we got our home. It is stressful, but think about it, you are stressed in your own home now

I know how you feel. But you just have to think about what is important right now. What is the most important thing you need to do? AC?? Windows? for us it was furniture. We bought a couch but 2 whole rooms were empty for 5 months. We bought things when we could. Is it urgent to get the tree cut down?? Could you do it yourself with help from friends?? I would think that air condition would be important since you are pregnant and nobody wants to be hot when you are pregnant. Just hang in there because it will all work out. And I am sure that Dominic will adjust soon.

oh Kate you poor thing!

relax sweetie... it will be ok! Dominic will adjust and all will be happy eventually LOL. Who knows... maybe the neighbor is just shy or was having a really bad day. I can count on one hand the number of time I've talked to my neighbor, and most of them I haven't even met...

I agree with Tami... AC is DEFINITELY important when you're pregnant LOL. Just take care of the urgent things, and deal with the rest later.

Kate, I am sorry you feel overwhelmed. Just try to relax and do what is important first. I agree with the ladies, just try to take care of the AC first. I am sure Dominic will adjust soon. Most children go through this. ((((((HUGS))))))
