Good Morning!

I have nothing to do today, after DH & I spent the day cleaning our BR, it looks great, and the rest of the house is picked up too.

Not much goin on here today. Roslyn has her recreation playgroup and then maybe we will head to the park. She got her birthday present early this weekend, a new big girl bike and she is riding like crazy.

I have laundry and dishes to do since the dishwasher quit draining this weekend. I am not sure what will happen this afternoon as DH has been put on a different schedule this week so he gets off at 2 instead of 5. I am going to be exhausted by the time he gets back to his regular schedule because he has to get u at 5 AM and I have problems sleeping without him.

Yep, laundry day here as well. first load is done and the kids are still in bed! DH will come home early to take Ben (4) to the ice rink to practice hockey. I have to get the hall bathroom cleaned, but keep putting it off- 2 wks now! (And even that was a week past needing attention.) Plus, I need to do meal planning, mopping and cleaning the kitchen. We're chore training too, so the lower portions of windows will get clean-ish by Emma (2) and Ben will dust as long as the novelty lasts. Hopefully, the weather holds out so they can play out back and I can do some writing out there. (when I read this list, it makes me look so much more organized than I ever give myself credit for!) Have a lovely day! Kris

Afternoon, y'all! :) I miss posting! I've been soooo busy lately. I laughed when I saw the "What do your dh's do to help?" thread. I haven't read it yet, but I have my answer: NOTHING! So I've been doing my job, his "chores", the kiddos are wiiiired!, and taking care of my il's 8 week old (not housetrained!) puppy. Very busy! Today I've already taken apart a futon bunkbed, rearranged the room, done 2 loads of wash (with one still to go), put away all the laundry (except dh's - it's supposed to be his job from start to finish, and he won't help...so I won't put away his laundry), gotten breakfast and done all the dishes, done the downstairs dishes (our bottles and cups for just us), etc. Very busy! Still more to do, but I'll slow a bit. I just laid the kiddos down for a nap, but they're still playing with each other through the bars of Nate's crib.

Yesterday was interesting. After nap yesterday, Nate was projectile vomiting the yogurt I gave him for breakfast, and I'd already done 4 loads of wash but I put in another (twice). By the time they got their baths and the crib was cleaned, dinner was in the oven and dh was on his way home. I was cooking dinner, washing the crib, bathing the kiddos and on the phone with dh -- at the same time. I was productive yesterday! It's rare for me to multitask that much, but it worked! Dh has worked 9a-5p for the last 3 days, and it's made dealing with the kids easier. By the time they start losing their minds, he's home to help (or take over!) hehe :) He's working 9a-5p today, too. I don't know about dinner yet, but we'll see. I cooked last night and it was soooo nice not to have the entire meal out of the box or have it be mac and cheese and hot dogs - again! (That's when mil "cooks".)
