I have sunblock for Emily from last year, about half a tube of it left.

it lasts about a year...so yeah, you need a new tube of it every summer.

I read somewhere that you should replace it every year b/c it does expire.

I have been using the same tube for a few years...


it seems to still be working!

One year is what I have always gone by. But I did see on the Today show last year that the aerosol spray sunblock lasts a bit longer. Good luck getting a can of that stuff to last longer than a summer! We went thru 5 cans last year. Great stuff, it really stays on and is super easy to apply, but a little expensive. There is just not much in the cans.

I think it loses either 5 or 10 of it's spf value each year at least that's what I was told...
