My mom fell on Sunday.

Natalie stayed with my mom over the weekend and then my mom took her to her church on Sunday. She dropped Natalie off in her Sunday school class and was going to hers which requires her to walk up these wooden steps outside up to a row of houses the the church owns and has classes in. She misjudged the first step and caught her foot on the edge and tripped and fell. She hit her nose on a step and was gushing blood. She was all alone, no one saw her fall or heard her fall. She made her way up the stairs to her class and went to the bathroom to wash the blood up and saw how bad she was hurt. Her Sunday school teacher took her to the ER. On the way she called my house and left me a message to go pick up Natalie but my answering maching didn't record that park. Just the part to call her. I tried to call her but the hospital blocks cell phones in certain parts of it's hospital. So her and I were in a panic by the time she found out I didn't get all her message, church was still going on but Sunday School was over, so where was Natalie? Turns out nobody bothered to go let her teacher know what happened nor did they bother to get her and watch her for my mom. They knew she had come with her too. They ended up leaving her at the nursery office with the helper and when my mom got in there after looking in a few places for her that is where she found her. I was worried that Natlaie was upset cause Grammy didn't come and get her like normal. She was alright, not the least bit upset. LOL By the time my mom made it home she was fine and I babied my mom a bit and had her lay down. She took a little nap and seemed a lot better. She was very sore and is taking ibuprofen. She needed stitches but since it was maybe two or so they glued her back together instead of stitched it. She didn't break her nose but the Dr said it's probably chipped. Her head hurts from the basic impact. My poor mom. I didn't even know this was happening, why didn't my moms friends call me? That scares me, what if it had been worse. Would they have called me then? (They have my number.) It scares me to think about it. I wonder if they even thought about calling me? *shrug*
