Hey all! My Open House was a great success!
Here's what I served:

Fresh fruit (God totally helped me with this. Until I delivered DS, I HATED canteloupe and honeydew. Now I love it, but can't pick a good one for anything. Everyone said it was the sweetest they've had all season!)
A veggie platter
Tortilla chips and Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip
Cheese and Crackers
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Coffee Cake
Cinnamon Pinwheel Cookies (These are SO easy and cheap! It's pie crust with butter spread over it, topped with cinnamon and sugar, rolled into a tube, and sliced into cookies and baked. They are not too sweet and GREAT with coffee!)
Chips and dip
Biscotti - which I purchased at BJ's wholesale

Everything was

That sounds great! Where can I get a recipe for the buffalo chicken wing dip; I have had it before and loved it and I would love to make it for a football tailgate this weekend!

We had about 20 people at the house. As for the dip - I forgot that we are getting into football season again! Yes, this is a hit whenever I make it. Everyone I know makes it different. Here's my version:

Bake 3 HALF boneless chicken breasts until cooked through. (i usually do 425 for about 20 minutes depending on size of breasts) Shred with fork. Add one heaping cup of CHUNKY bleu cheese dressing - I use Marie's - and 12-16 oz of philly cream cheese. Mix until blended. Add Frank's Red Hot Sauce to taste. I start with about a half cup. Bake in oven safe dish for another 20 minutes or until bubbling. Serve warm!
The nice thing about this recipe is that the chicken is already low in fat. Use light bleu cheese dressing and light or fat free cream cheese for a healthy alternative. Of course, you serve it warm with tortilla chips (not healthy in the least) but it helps a little bit!

Thank you! I think I can handle that recipe! And it would go over big at the tailgate!!!
