Not sure if this is the right spot for this but here goes:

What is your current regime for taking care of your skin?

My skin was always very sensitive. If I have an itch, and I lightly scratch it, it looks like I clawed my face! I never could use any lotions with benzoyl peroxide because it would actually burn my skin. This is what I use now:

I always use Dove cleansing cloths at night. That removes the makeup and dirt from the day. I follow with a non-comedogenic lotion. I found that when I don't hydrate my face, I have more oil laying on my "T-Zone" in the morning than usual. In the morning, I use proactiv CLEANSER ONLY. It has the refiners in it to help exfoliate and remove the dead skin. (I found that when I use the proactiv lotion, it creates MORE oil.) I also drink a ton of water. With BFing, I need to stay hydrated, so I drink at least half my body weight in ounces. Anyway, I follow my morning cleansing with the same lotion from the night before.

As long as I don't deviate from my routine, I have very little problem with my skin. If I don't wash my face before bed, it equals an immediate zit! The way my skin is now, I have two or three very small bumps, but they never materialize into anything, just go away on their own. Also, let it be known, that I wear foundation every day - the full coverage kind - because if scarring and uneven coloring from bad pimples in the past. This is the best my skin has ever looked, and I am thrilled!

HTH, I know what a struggle the search for products can be! I have boatloads of things I can't use, but can't seem to throw out because they were expensive!!

LOL, Shannon, I have tons of things I can't use either - but can't throw them out due to extreme guilt over wasting $$$.

I red hair, freckles, and sensitive skin. After years of trying expensive routines, I have been for about 10 years using Ivory soap on a face scrubber and then (usually generic) Oil of Olay with SPF in it. I use concealer for breakouts on my chin (whatever is cheapest) and sometimes eyeshadow, and always lipstick. I still get breakouts on my chin, but my skin is not too dry or itchy.

The only moisturizer I EVER found that didn't break me out was Mary Kay Velocity. I'm not even sure they make it any more. And I shouldn't even admit that considering I'm an Avon Lady! :) It seems like my skin changes every time I have a baby, and now I'm back to square one (again) trying to figure out what's going to work on my "new" skin. So I might take some of your suggestions too if I don't find an Avon product to work on me!
