Well, so far so good. This morning I called the kid's (who hit me) agent to start the process on getting my van repaired and turns out I know their agent. We went to church together and were in the same Sunday school class and he was a person I went to for extra prayers or when I needed any type of help - care group leader. I didn't even notice his name on Saturday when they wrote down his info for me. I just noticed this morning who it was. He's a very kind man and I know he won't give me any grief, he is so willing to help me. Told me to call if I had any troubles or needed anything. Normally dealing with him as an agent would stop there after an adjuster contacted me but he said he is willing to help me and all I had to do was call. Just pray this goes as smoothly as my initial phone call this morning did please. Thank you!

Oh I know that. I realized before I called him that I needed to make sure I kept in check what I said cause he is so easy to talk to. Over several years I became close to him and his wife so it will be hard to keep this business. But, I also know that Brian (the agent) is a very honest person and won't take advantage of our friendship or trick me. He's very honest and fair and I honestly think it's more in my favor that he knows me. He knows what type of person I am and can vouch for my honesty and integrity. In the past when dh had a fender bender the other person's agent called and called and called wanting to hear our side of the accident, I can not tell you how many times we had to retell the whole story about how it happened cause they did not believe us and their client was telling a whole different story in her favor of course. This was here in our area too.

That's good that you know the agent.
