I agree that she sounds depressed, especially since she is detaching her self from things she once did and enjoyed.
I also agree that her husband needs to approach her about this, and not you. She needs to see her Dr. so that they can come up with a plan together to get back on track.
Her husband calling her lazy and such isn't going to help things any, they need to get outside help. I too have battled depression for years and know that it can take so much out of you, where you don't even feel like yourself anymore.
