Well laid plans didn't seem to get accomplished yesterday. Did make it to the dentist but that didn't take long...they bonded a temporary filling on the tooth for right now and scheduled me for the beginning works of a crown on May 1st...DD's birthday but that won't affect her LOL

I have to get the dogs to the vet today...actually this morning as he is only open half days on Friday. I had wanted to do it yesterday afternoon but when I got back from the dentist...DS was gone...DD was still in class and I need help getting the three dogs there. So DS has agreed to help me this morning. Two are due for rabies shots and the third one needs an allergy shot...she has been chewing herself bare in spots.

I am feeling overwhelmed these days...need to take a few steps back, take some deep breathes and shake some of this stuff off. So much needs to get done and I have to get things back in perspective and get my babysteps going again.

My best friend (twin) has invited us over for Easter Dinner...they are having another family over also...as well as their nephew from Detroit and three of his friends will be visiting for the weekend. They usually have an Easter gathering...I will take a salad.

Need to get moving.

Good luck, Pab, getting your dogs all taken care of at the vet's today. Your Easter plans sound nice, and maybe spending a few hours with a pleasant group of friends will give you just enough of a breather that you can step back and relax from all your stress, get that fresh perspective that will do you good. I hope so! Have a lovely weekend, Seren

Good morning, Pab. I can sympathize about the dogs. Must be hard for one person to round them all up and take them in for shots.

So happy you and your family have been invited to your "twin's" home for Easter dinner. That will be nice for all of you. I am still not sure what we'll be doing. DD is unable to come home from school for this weekend, so it will just be the three of us here. I am leaning toward eating out somewhere, but DH wants to cook something on the grill. Not sure yet what we will do.

Yes, get back into you babystep routine. I need to do that too, and I plan to start today with de-cluttering the guest bedroom. Stuff has been "landing" in there lately, and suddenly, it looks more like a junkroom than a place where you would have a guest stay.

Hope you have a good day and weekend, Pab. Love, BB

I know what you mean Pab. Take a few steps back. Sounds like good advice. Guess we have to decide what is important and what isn't.

Hugs to you.

Your Easter plans sound lovely....being with friends and family and not having to cook!!

Hope your trip to the vet's goes well. I've always thought that getting my two purrbabies there at the same time was a chore - but at least they are in carrying cases and I only have to listen to the screams in stereo there and back!! I don't have to try to hang on to three dogs while in the waiting room!! Sitting in the waiting room was the worse thing about taking our dogs to the vet!

Hope you can relax over this weekend enough to lower your stress levels. Yes, babystepping is the way to handle things!

Hugzzzzzzz

1-2-3, 1-2-3, deep breaths. I think we could all follow that advice, Pab. Enjoy dinner with your twin. You are so lucky --I have heard that twins have the most special relationsip in the world....!!

Hugs,Shari

You have had a hectic schedule lately. Glad you have been invited to dinner. Is it raining for you, too? Aren't you glad you aren't moving lilies today? : )

Shari...this is my best friend here where I live. She and I have the same first and middle names, we share the same birthdate though I am 5 years older (this is why I refer to her as twin), we each have a daughter with the same first and middle names, we have brothers with the same names, there are too many coincidents that we keep finding out. We met 15 years ago and have been fast friends since. It is like we can read each other's minds...my late DH use to say we talked in code, which we probably do as we only have to say a few words and look at each other. I don't know what I would have done these past 10 years with all that has gone on in my life if I hadn't of had her to lean on, talk to, and be there to help me. We are truly kindred spirits.

Hi Brenda...the sun is shining here, it has cooled of a bit but havn't had any rain. I hope we don't as they are having a Spring Festival in Franklin Square this weekend. The craft people have their booths all set up and tomorrow is the chili cookoff.

Enjoy your weekend, I take it you are having rain!

I would say that you are about as close to being twins as possible w/o actually being one! That kind of relationship is special too!
